Smooth Jazz Saxman Will Donato Brings it to New Haven

Smooth Jazz Saxman Will Donato returns to Connecticut for one show and one show only Saturday, September 10 at the landmark Terminal 110 and Keys to the City at 240 Sargent Drive on New Haven's Long Wharf.  Donato brings with him an all-start band that features keyboardist Bill Heller from the Rippingtons, bassist Kenny Harris who has performed with Matt Marshak, Nick Colionne, the Sax Pack, and more, and drummer Trever Sommerville who is familiar to New Haven audiences keeping time with Rohn Lawrence, Jay Rowe, Marion Meadows, and others.

The PAR-TAY starts when the doors open at 7pm and Will Donato and his band hit at 8pm.  There's plenty of free parking and easy access from I95, I91, and even the train station.  There's a bar and dinner menu too. We're a Finalist Again for Best Single Stream Webcaster!

RAIN Internet Radio AwardFor the second year in a row, Blue Plate Radio has been named as a finalist in the "Best Single Stream Webcaster" category for the RAIN News Internet Radio Awards.  This category celebrates the best pureplay webcaster with a single stream of radio content.  The judging panel, comprised of industry experts unaffiliated with the competing services, may evaluate all aspects of the singe-stream pureplay experience, including programming, personality, stream reliability, and distinctiveness.  The award-winner will be announced at the RAIN Summit Atlanta on September 29.
